Years before I had children, my husband and I would wake up early on Black Friday, grab a coffee and go shopping until we couldn’t. We’d go have brunch and head home to take a nap. It was a fun day for two newlyweds with no kids. Fast forward 5 years and 2 kids later, we now laugh at that idea because…it’s not possible to do this with two little kids! Imagine crazy crowds + whining crying kids = black Freak out! So I don’t. 🙂
Now do you want to hear what my black Friday secret is? It’s staying home and shopping in my pj’s!!! Why wait until cyber Monday when black Friday still offers awesome online deals!? I shop online to also earn a % of my sale back.
- I ALWAYS use an online coupon or I don’t purchase.
- On top of using a coupon (which I find on ebates) I start shopping from ebates to earn a % percentage on my purchase back!
To-date I’ve earned $478.75. That’s just this last year alone!
So why get all crazy and irritated with the crowds on Black Friday when you can stay home, watch movies, eat leftovers….and shop online!! 🙂
