A few years ago we took the plunge and got a puppy.
Puppies are wonderful, adorable and fun. Everyone can agree on that.
But….puppies are like having a brand new baby at home, complete with the lack of sleep and nonstop poop/pee! Puppies are a ton of energy but also a ton of love.
During this time, we had a real baby at home who was only 4 months old himself and on oxygen nonetheless. Needless to say, while the decision probably was not the best timing for our family, it was the right timing for our family to add another dog into our lives.
Meet Ava.
My old full bred Fox Face Pomeranian, who is full of life and spunk.
Her hobbies include snuggling, running, jumping, chewing toys, eating shoes and well…eating ‘all the food’ in general.

Now that Ava is past the puppy stage and moving toward being a mature dog, I look back on all her milestones of growth and laugh at how hard the struggles of dog ownership can be. Even though she’s eaten a a majority of the shoes in our home (10 or so pairs to be exact. Yay for kids that don’t pick-up ever), having her as a part of our family is so much fun! Once you get through the potty training and chewing stages, having a family dog is the best!
I look forward to making more memories with Ava now that she is maturing!
Bringing her on outdoor adventures, playing fetch with her, watching her grow with my kids and having an over excited dog to come home to is by far the best part of my day. Beneful helps to make this all possible by keeping her healthy!
