Ways to Save Money Shopping at Target!

I’m a snob when it comes to my shopping…I admit it.  I really frequent one store that has the brands I want and at great prices, and you can probably guess that that store is TARGET!  I LOVE my Target shopping and deal finding trips. One of the main reasons I love Target are all the ways to save money shopping there!  Here’s some tips on all the way you can save money shopping at Target:

  1. Target.com/coupons – Target accepts two forms of coupons for each item you’re purchasing. They will accept a manufacturer coupon and a Target.com coupon.  When the plants align and this happens you save double!  It’s coupon geekout time.  I usually start my coupon clipping by starting here, finding coupons I would need and then moving on to see if a manufacturer coupon is also out.
  2. Target Cartwheel – This is a app you can download on your phone and ALSO combine with your coupons.  It’s usually a % off your items.  Anywhere from 5% to 50%, so check back often and be sure to use your cartwheel when you check out!
  3. Manufacturer coupons – This is my 3rd step in Target coupon shopping.  You’ll have the most luck finding coupons at the actual manufacturer website when it comes to Organic shopping.  Here’s a list of over 45 Organic companies you can request them from and possibly find some on the websites!
  4. The Target Redcard – this is my newest way to save an automatic 5% on all my Target shopping.  I recently (and FINALLY) signed up for a Target redcard.  NO this is not a credit card (but there is a target credit card you can apply for if you want).  The Target redcard that I got is linked to my debit checking account.  So instead of using my bank card at Target, I use my redcard that is linked to the same bank and save an extra 5% on my whole purchase.  Here’s some highlights of the Redcard
  • 5% off every day
  • Free shipping at Target.com (no minimum purchase)
  • Extended returns — 30 extra days
  • Up to 1% of purchases go to school of your choice
  • The online application process for debit and credit has immediate approval (except for some debit applications that require a few days to confirm a bank account)
  • REDcard holders can easily check their credit card account balance, make a payment, review past statements, check their debit card transaction history and manage their PIN. They also get to enjoy exclusive offers available only to REDcard holders.
  • Full details on all the savings and benefits that the Target REDcard offers can be found here.

So there’s ALL the ways you can save with coupons and discounts at Target.  Did I mention you can use all of these discounts on sale items as well?  You can…so shop those sale racks with your coupons, cartwheel, and redcard!
