It’s time to share my semi-awkward photos of my monthly Stitch Fix Box!! YAY!  I know you’ve been waiting for this. 😉

This month I’ve “hired” a NEW photographer, opposed to using my automatic setting on my camera.  đŸ™‚  I’ve hired my 5 year old daughter…who loves to point, shoot and click any and all photos.

Little does Stitch Fix know they’re helping me form a future photographer…and model, because my 3-year-old just HAD to be in a few photos.  He’s a cute little addition I think.

What is Stitch fix?

It’s a monthly box, with 5 fashion items (clothes or jewelry/accessories) that are handpicked by stylists. The box is delivered each month (on a day you choose)! No time to shop or keep up with the latest fashions? No problem…Stitch fix will pick out clothes and ship them to your house! It’s a mom’s dream really. My problem is I LOVE shopping, but in-store shopping has lost its luster because bringing two little kids shopping is more stressful than anything. Which is why Stitch fix is a great fit for me! You’ll start out by taking a quiz on which fashion styles you Love, Like, Dislike (you get the idea). Then you’ll answer questions about your own measurements so the stylists can send you clothes that fit! (Which so far has been great from my experience). They also have petite options and maternity options! I WISH I would’ve known about this box when I was pregnant…it would’ve made clothes shopping so much more fun. Then you select the day you’d like your first shipment and bam! Your first fix on the way! Once you receive your box, you have 3 days to decide if you’re going to keep an item or ship it back. I suggest keeping, at least one item in every box, so you don’t lose your styling fee! OH and they also have Stitch Fix for MEN!  So if you have a guy in your life that needs some style help, Stitch Fix is here to help!

How much is it?

You will pay $20 a month for a “styling fee” but the best part is that ‘fee’ will be credited toward any items in your box that you want to keep. That $20 monthly fee goes towards any clothes you purchase. If you don’t like anything you lose that $20. (Most people keep one item and sell it online if it’s really not them.) If you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off the entire box!! (This makes everything more affordable for sure!) You can also refer your friends and family and get a $25 credit toward Stitch Fix goods! It’s by far my favorite monthly box..and I’ve tried a TON of boxes!

MARCH STITCH FIX:

This month I asked for casual and lounge wear.  I can ‘dress down’ at work on Friday’s and I also go for comfort on the weekend! [bctt tweet=”My stylist definitely delivered this month!” username=”@JessiLivingLove”]  I’m loving all of my casual options.  Here they are:

  • Honey Punch | Seaside Mix Material Top – $38
  • Mystery | Yarbo Dolman Cowl Neck Knit – $44
  • Market & Spruce | Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top – $58
  • Just Black | Joey Skinny Jean – $88
  • 41Hawthorn | Queensland Dolman Jersey Top – $48

Each month I really try to stick to the “keep 1 item rule” and this month I had a really hard time deciding.  Everything was so cute and fit so well!

Since it’s been a windy end of winter here in Colorado, (Happy 1st day of spring today by the way) my first attempt to take photos was in my bathroom, where I get a ton of light….or so I thought I did.

They came out horrible:

Bathroom selfies are much harder then they look!  Mine came out blurry, with an ugly background and not great lighting.

Since I didn’t love any of the photos, I waited a few days until the wind died down, and my new photographer took some new photos outside!

First up is the—>

Honey Punch | Seaside Mix Material Top – $38

I love the back of this top because it’s long enough to cover my bottom and it’s a nice, light material.  The front of the tee looks like a regular T-Shirt.

I can see myself wearing this with shorts, capris, jeans, you name it.  So of course I had to keep it! 🙂

Mystery | Yarbo Dolman Cowl Neck Knit – $44

This top is labeled a Dolman, yet if feels more like a poncho when it’s on.  Unlike a poncho it has arms, a pocket and it’s super comfy!  Put a cowl neck on it and I’m sold.  So of course I kept it!  I’ve already blown my “keep 1 item” rule this month!  Oops!

(notice the wrinkles…warning this shirt wrinkles very easily!  I’ve had to steam or iron this every time I wash it)

Market & Spruce | Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top – $58

If you put lace on a shirt this comfy and adorable…it’s going to make it really difficult to say no to.  This raglan is comfy, casual and something you could also dress up!

I had to take a few days before I decided on this top.  I mean look how cute it is!  Since I was already keeping 2 of my items, I decided to part with the Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan.

After I decided to return it, I saw two other ladies out in public with it on.  They looked SO stinkin’ cute in it.  Now I’m having the opposite of buyers remorse.  So my advice is…if you get this top-keep it!

Market & Spruce | Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top - $58

Look how cute my little model is…collecting rocks!

Just Black | Joey Skinny Jean – $88

The Just black jeans that I’m wearing are petite size.  I’m 5’1″ so I get all my pants in petite.  I already own a pair similar to this color, just a different brand.  I didn’t feel like I’d get a ton of wear out of them…plus now that I’m looking at the pictures, they really weren’t that flattering on me.

Ugh I’m still sad I sent back that top!  So Cute!

41Hawthorn | Queensland Dolman Jersey Top – $48

I didn’t LOVE how this dolman fit.  At all.  Even in a size small it was HUGE on me.  I felt like I was swimming in material.  And dolman’s aren’t the most flattering for shorties like me….so even though the color is fun, I sent it back.  I could wear it as a short dress if I wanted to! lol.  #clubbin’moms?
