Well as usual this month as gone way to fast and it’s time for yet another income report! This month I have some Instagram (IG) tips that will help you grow your IG following!
I spent the first few weeks of this month finishing up my semester in my Master’s program. Only one more year and I’ll be done with my MSN! the end is finally in sight.
So needless to say, I didn’t get to spend enough time on my blog. Each month I share with my readers how I’m monetizing my small blog. Between SEO, traffic and social media, blogging really is a full time job. On top of my other full time job as a RN.
My number 1 tip for any aspiring bloggers, start a blog because you want to connect with others and share your thoughts. If you’re only starting a blog to make money you will burn out fast! Recently my husband and a good friend started their own blog. They’re calling it BroDaddyBlog, a place for real dudes being real dads. They’ve quickly learned how much work goes into starting a blog!
Monetizing your blog is an fun perk of blogging, and I’ve learned you’ve got to spend money to make money with your blog!

How to Grow Instagram
This month I spent some money on growing my social media. Instagram is one avenue in my social media that I’ve yet to focus on. So this month I spent $9.99 to try Likestagram which I really liked-no pun intended. It “likes” posts from others in your niche, to help you become more active on instagram without spending your whole day on your phone. Who has time for that ya know?!
In return, some people you’ve liked images for end up following you! I’ve found a few blogging mom tribes this way and have been able to grow my Instagram by 340 followers in one month. It’s not spammy which I like and all followers are real! The #’s that I used were #momblog and #blogger.
That helped me find other moms with like minded blogs. 🙂 It was a win win. I high recommend it if you’re looking to grow your social media with very little work and money.
