I LOVE the fall! It’s not even September yet and I have my fall wreath up! This past weekend Violet, a good friend and myself took time to make some fall wreaths! I love craft days! 🙂 Thanks to my 40% off coupon from Michaels, it was a great deal. I made 2 wreaths with a ton of left over materials for $25. I’m obsessed with burlap so I decided to make a burlap wreath. Here we are at Michaels picking up items:
Here’s ALL of the supplies laid out …including pinterest ideas! I really needed a good tutorial on how to make burlap roses. I had to ditch Pinterest and go straight to Youtube. I found a few tutorials on there, none that I’ll mention because somehow I made up my own version of how to make a burlap rose. It involves LOTS of hot glue! 🙂
See…my burlap roses are below 🙂
My favorite part of the wreath was the $0.99 chalk board that I found on clearance. It had a strange brown button on it that I covered up with a rose. It was super light and I hot glued the heck of it to stick to my wreath. I found some adorable burlap leaves that you’ll see below.
Here’s violets fall wreath:) She wanted to use the hot glue gun but I burned myself enough for both of us so we helped her.
Here’s our final products, hanging on our doors:
My biggest mistake was buying berries that were the same color as the wreath! Wreath Fail. BUT up close it does add something. I LOVE how it turned out! AND how my friends turned out below: Happy Fall!! (ish)
