Last year my daughter signed up for her first sport at the young age of 3 years old. I’m sure you can guess what it was….soccer.
This year we signed her up yet again for her favorite summer camp through British Soccer Camps! And let me just say now…she LOVED it.

She arrived the day of with her British Soccer jersey on. Then at camp, she got a soccer ball and a T-shirt! She wore that same outfit all week to camp and looked adorable everyday. 🙂
All of the coaches are all from the UK, and are all so great with the kids! Her coach, was very patient and kind. They played games and learned the drills that soccer players practice.
British Soccer also has a program where you can house the coaches during the soccer camp. If you do this you get a discount for the camp! It’s a great opportunity to meet some interesting coaches from the UK, and teach your kids about different parts of the world!
Watching a 4 year old practice soccer skills is one of the cutest things ever! She ran her tail off for 1.5 hours a day, came home and ate then slept all afternoon! It was a great way to get some energy out and learn some new soccer skills.
Since the camp is only a week long, she was left wanting more soccer…so this fall we’ve signed her up for another local soccer team to play against other kids each week. Thanks to the Britsh soccer camp, my 4 year old is ready to play real soccer and understands the game better.
We love our summer soccer camp and look forward to doing it again next year…this time with our 3 year old BOY!
