I’m a mom of 3 kids, and have never had braces. I didn’t need them as my teeth were “straight enough” grown up. (Hello 80’s kids! If you know you know). After having kids, my teeth shifted a lot! My feet grew and well, more side effects of pregnancy happened as most of us know what those are. (heyyyyy stretch marks).

What to Expect:
The first appointment is simple! You take some X-rays, and photos of your teeth. With the amazing technology that they have, it’s pain free and fast.
From there you see your teeth and what to expect from the process.
You head home and wait for Invisalign to create your trays!
Your second appointment is more exciting as the process now starts!
You’ll get your new trays. One for each week of your treatment. My first set of trays was 21 weeks.
Then in-office, you’ll get your “attachments”. They’re little cement pieces that hang on to your teeth. They are molded into the trays to help pull your teeth into the spot you need to straighten your teeth.
Getting the attachments is painless.
After tho, I must admit they feel strange to have on. After 24 hours I was completely used to them! Promise the strange feeling of having them in your mouth goes away. It’s not painful, just feels strange for a bit.
The next step is to be a good patient!
