It’s been FIVE months since my baby Pierce arrived. I can’t believe he’s already 5 months! It’s been quite the roller coaster since he was born, and I can attest that 3 kids is SO much more work then 2! Until I’m actually ready to share his birth story, (if you follow my Instagram you know it was a scary one) I decided I should start sharing a bit more about my 3rd baby! So I decided a reveal of his nursery would be a fun option!
(I AM working on his birth story so stay tuned. It’s an emotional one and can take a lot of out me even writing about it).
NURSERY REVEAL
The theme for Pierce’s room is mountain baby since we live in Colorado. Fitting right? (I know so creative).
So naturally red buffalo check is a common theme as well as animals you’d find in the mountains and neutral colors.
Decor:
I incorporated small signs on walls that are precious and have a rustic look.
Pillows and throws help to make the room feel cozy and warm!
The wall has a fun combination of shapes, natural colors and sayings. Including his precious sign that is my favorite night prayer:
Crib and Mattress
Since this is my 3rd baby, he naturally is getting and will continue to get plenty of hand-me-downs. His crib being one of them.
The ONE thing I did not want to keep was the old baby mattress. It was 7 years old and I figured there had to be a new, option that was updated in mattress technology. If there is such a thing?! 🙂

Since Pierce started sleeping on the new mattress I have to admit that I’ve also slept better. He’s so close to rolling over, and I sleep better knowing that if he does rollover in his crib, he’ll be safe!
