Once it arrived I found I had so many uses for it!
Keep in mind, this is a great idea for an upcoming baby shower gift! What great filler items right!? Nonetheless..here’s all the ways I’ve used the items:
1) Back up diapers for the diaper bag – I know I always pack them, but theses diapers are in a plastic wrapping so it was an easy in case of emergency item to add to the bag. AND it just so happens a few weeks later when we were out and about, we completely forgot to pack diapers! I went to the zipper and it was empty….SO thank goodness for this emergency back up that I had from my kit!
2) I use the hand and body lotion at my desk for my hands – it’s gentle and effective on my dry nurse hands! (I was them 20x’s a day..no joke) It’s the perfect travel size so it’s been great to have in a small space.
3). I used the laundry detergent (that’s free and clear) when we went on a weekend trip! We had a washer and dryer in our condo so this travel size sample was perfect for a weekend getaway!
4). I keep the liquid hand soap in my purse! I know…sounds dumb but I’ve needed it multiple times in public! I hate when I go to use a public restroom and there’s no soap! It happens all the time. I’ve also used this in my first aid needs when my daughter skinned her knee full of rocks and mud. A little water from a water bottle and some of my travel size liquid hand soap and we were good to go! #momisalwaysready! (Actually that would be a first for me…;)
5). Diaper Rash Creme – I keep this in my diaper bag because my kids really never have had bad diaper rashes. (Thanks Free and clear diapers and Seventh Generation!) But just in case he has a super acidic BM (I know lovely conversation here) I have this to use on his skin! It’s again, travel size and super easy to throw in a purse or diaper bag.
